Charlie: the character's story so far...

After their trip to Dakar, where Charlie helped out Charly and Louis, Steve and her got through a little crisis that left them more in love with each other and closer than ever. But Dakar has come back to their attention when a file on Charlie is found is M. Abou's safe after his death. Charlie's dad seems to know more about this event than he wants to show. And while Charlie is trying to get back on track, Jake, the photographer of her newspaper, kidnapped her. Why? Is he working alone? Who is he working for, if that's not the case?
